Easter Decor Ideas

Easter is such a refreshing holiday to decorate for, but where to start?

When looking for Easter home decor ideas, first consider if you will be hosting guests this year for an Easter dinner or brunch.  If so, decorating a lovely Easter table is a must!

A spring-themed setting with blooming pink, purple, and white hyacinths in white pots. A small white rabbit figure hides among the flowers. Colorful Easter eggs sit in a woven basket with a pink cloth. A pink candle and cup are in the background.

After that, consider if you want to decorate other areas of your house for Easter such as your kitchen or living room.

Some people like to add just a touch of Easter decor here and there.  Others enjoy going all out with the pastel colors and Easter bunnies.  Either way, it’s nice to freshen up your house for spring with Easter decorating ideas.

Easter Living Room Decorations

If you’re like me, you spend a lot of time in your living room hanging out.  So it makes sense to want to decorate your living room for the Easter season.

A close-up of a cozy beige sofa adorned with a decorative cushion featuring a detailed illustration of a brown rabbit surrounded by pink flowers. The background includes a knitted blanket and blurred floral curtains.

There’s lots of different ways to do this, including adding fun Easter pillows to your couch, decorating your coffee table for Easter.

If you have a fireplace and mantel, this can be a great place to display Easter mantel decorations as well.

Decorative Easter eggs with various pastel patterns are arranged on a tray alongside two lit pillar candles. Delicate white and pink flowers are in the background, creating a festive and serene atmosphere.

Another way I like to decorate my living room for Easter is by using candles.  You can use Easter candle displays on a coffee table, sideboard vignette, inside a fireplace or on top of a mantel for a beautiful look, especially at night.

Easter Table Decoration Ideas

If you are having guests over for an Easter meal, then decorating your table for Easter will help set a festive mood for the day.

A pastel-themed Easter decor table setting features pink and white floral arrangements. Plates are stacked with a floral napkin and a painted egg on top. Forks and a spoon sit on the left, while a knife and spoon rest on the right, accompanied by a light blue glass.

It might seem like one more thing to do, but creating a fun Easter table doesn’t have to be hard.  I’ve got a great post with some ideas on how to create very festive, but simple Easter table settings.

A beautifully set table with lit candles, white flowers, and pastel-colored decorative eggs on plates. The setting is bright and elegant, creating a festive and welcoming atmosphere.

For those that do want to go all out and create a gorgeous, elegant Easter tablescape, go for it!  Stunning Easter table settings are fun way to get creative with your Easter decor at home.

Easter Decorations For Kitchens

Do you have an island or a countertop area in your kitchen that you like to decorate for the seasons and holiday?  I love using this space for Easter decor ideas for the home.

A wire basket filled with colorful Easter eggs and various fruits like apples and pears sits on a wooden table. A decorative wooden bunny with a twine bow is placed in front of the basket, adding to the festive scene.

We spend so much time in our kitchens, that I think it makes sense to decorate them a bit, including for Easter.

Easter kitchen decor ideas can be quite simple.  A few faux Easter eggs, some spring greenery and an Easter bunny figurine might be all you need for a festive touch in this space.

Outdoor Easter Decorations

Have you heard of Easter egg trees?  There is a house in my neighborhood that likes to hang Easter eggs on one of their trees every spring.  So pretty!

A decorative wreath on a white door features pastel-colored eggs, artificial roses, hydrangeas, and eucalyptus leaves. It is adorned with a large, light blue bow at the bottom, creating a springtime or Easter theme.

There are a bunch of ways you can decorate the outside of your house for Easter.  One of my favorite ways is to hang a lovely Easter wreath on the front door.

It’s a cheery way to welcome in guests for the spring season.
