Easter Living Room Decor Ideas

Not sure about you, but after the long, cold days of winter, I’m ready for a spring refresh in my living room area.

Luckily, decorating for Easter provides the perfect opportunity to get out new living room decorations and brighten up the space.

A cozy living room scene with a beige sofa adorned with a decorative cushion featuring a rabbit and flowers. This Spring Refresh includes textured knit pillows and a soft, light color palette, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere perfect for Easter gatherings.

But how exactly should you go about placing Easter decorations around your living room?

In this article, I share some of my favorite ways to decorate a living room area for the Easter season.

Living Room Shelf & Cabinet Easter Decor

A vintage cabinet with glass doors stands open, displaying books, a framed botanical print, and decorative items like a golden rabbit figure. To the left, a cream-colored upholstered chair is partially visible. The setting is cozy and elegant.

Do you have any shelves or curio cabinets in your living room? If so, consider adding small Easter decorations to your existing bookshelf styling to celebrate the season.

In the photo above, Easter bunny figurines are set among floral pictures in a lovely, French Country style cabinet.

If you already use pictures frames to decorate your shelves, consider using printable Easter wall art in your frames for the holiday. I like to search on Pinterest for free Easter printables to use.

Easter Living Room Decorations With Trays

A decorative Easter arrangement brightens your living room decor with a large egg adorned in floral designs, surrounded by speckled eggs, yellow candles, and lush greenery on a wooden tray. A charming green polka-dotted bunny and pink lantern add to the spring refresh in the background.

Do you have any decorative trays in your living room? Many people like to use trays on coffee tables or as a way to group decorative items on a shelf.

Consider using your existing decorative trays to display Easter living room decorations. In the photo above, small candles, Easter eggs and an Easter bunny are all grouped together on a rustic tray.

Fresh spring greenery helps provide filling for the tray, although you could use faux greenery as well. This would look really cute on a coffee table or a sideboard display.

Easter Pillow Decor For Living Room Sofas

A cozy white armchair features a decorative pillow with a detailed illustration of a rabbit among pink and orange flowers. A warm table lamp with an ornate base softly illuminates the scene, perfect for an Easter living room decor that creates a tranquil ambiance.

One of the easiest Easter living room ideas is to use spring and Easter themed pillows to decorate your sofa and armchairs. You can find cute Easter pillows at a wide variety of home decor stores or online.

If you’re short on storage space, consider using Easter pillow covers instead. These pillow covers can be used over your existing living room pillows and then removed when the holiday is over.

I like having a small collection of Easter pillow covers on hand to use each year. This let’s me change the look and feel of my living room Easter decorations over the years without spending a bunch of money.

Easter Living Room Decor Vignettes

Metal buckets with purple hyacinths and green leaves brighten up the living room decor, capturing the essence of a spring refresh. Speckled pastel eggs, some blue and some pink, rest in nests of straw around the pots. Soft light filters through the window blinds in the background.

Do you have an area in your living room where you can create a cute Easter vignette? For many people, a living room sideboard, TV stand or end table makes for a good place to display a grouping of Easter decorations.

Easter vignettes don’t have to be complicated. In fact, I find that it takes some practice to get the art of styling vignettes. So don’t give up if you feel like your Easter vignette isn’t quite what you were hoping it would be.

In the photo above, small metal pots are used to hold fresh hyacinth bulbs. Little birds nests with eggs and decorative ribbon are used to complete this festive Easter vignette for a living room display.

Easter Coffee Table Decorations

A cozy living room showcases a white sofa adorned with plush pillows. A rustic coffee table holds a woven tray with a vase of white tulips and a bowl filled with pastel-colored eggs, capturing the essence of Easter. Natural light streams through the window, enhancing this spring refresh.

There are so many stylish ways to decorate a coffee table for Easter. One of my favorites is to use a decorative tray to group together Easter decorations on your coffee table.

In the photo above, a rustic vase is used to hold white tulips. Decorative eggs and faux fur fill the rest of the tray, while a bowl holding pastel Easter eggs is placed along side the tray as an offset.

Easter Table Decor For Living Rooms

Two whimsical white rabbit busts with black round glasses sit on a wooden shelf. Each rabbit has a slightly weathered texture and long ears. Surrounded by green foliage and set against a colorful floral backdrop, they offer charming Easter decor ideas for a spring refresh.

Easter living room table decor doesn’t have to be too complicated. I mentioned using trays as a way to group decorative Easter items together for a quick display.

Another idea is to use Easter living room decorations on your table with decorative rabbit figurines and faux or real greenery. In the photo above, the whimsical Easter bunnies provide a fun touch to a living room sideboard.

Books can be used to add height to the decorative objects which gives the vignette more visual interest.

Easter Living Room Decor With Candles

A decorative scene featuring a ceramic bunny, lit candle, and speckled eggs on a round tray brings a touch of Spring Refresh. A glass jar with pussy willow branches perfectly complements the cozy, neutral-toned Easter Living Room Decor.

Do you like to decorate your living room with candles? Me too! I love the warm glow of candlelight and the delicious smells of scented candles in my living room at night.

There are lots of way to decorate with candles for Easter in your living room. In the photo above, a simple jar candle is grouped on a tray with a decorative Easter bunny, Easter eggs and a small jar of spring florals for a quick Easter coffee table centerpiece.

Easter Living Room Mantel Decorations

A mantel adorned with cherry blossom branches, framed floral paintings, and white ceramic rabbit figurines exudes a bright, spring refresh. Some rabbits perch on books while another rests beside an open book, creating perfect Easter living room decor.

The fireplace and mantel area is often the focal point of a living room. So it makes sense to decorate it for the various seasons and holidays including Easter.

I think one of the best ways to decorate a mantel is to have decor at different heights to fill the space. In the photo above, picture frames hung on the wall, a vase with tall flowers and decor stacked on books all add visual interest to this fun Easter mantel display.

Modern Easter Living Room Decor

Two gray stone rabbit sculptures sit side by side on a shelf, perfect for an Easter touch. Nestled among books and a small green plant, they add natural elements to the living room decor. The neutral wall backdrop enhances the minimalist aesthetic, offering a fresh spring refresh.

So much Easter decor on the market involves pastel colors and rustic farmhouse themes. But what if your decorative style is a little more streamlined & modern?

You might have to hunt around a bit, but I’m seeing plenty of modern Easter decorations on the market today.

One way to get a modern look in your Easter decor is to stick with single color schemes such as all white Easter decorations or in different finishes such as the stone rabbits shown in the photo above.

Farmhouse Easter Living Room Decor

A cozy room featuring a beige armchair with a pillow depicting a rabbit wearing glasses. Embrace Easter living room decor with decorative rabbit figures, lit lanterns, and spring flowers in baskets on a white shelf.

For those that do enjoy farmhouse decorations, there’s lots of Easter farmhouse decor available to create a rustic look in your living room.

One of the nice things about farmhouse decor is that the neutral color palette pairs well with the traditional pastel color schemes used for Easter decorations. Or consider using only neutral Easter living room decorations in your space.

Another decor style that works great with Easter decorations is French Country. The soft color schemes used in French Country decorations pair well with the pastels of Easter decor.

Should you decorate your living room for both spring and Easter? Some people don’t like doing a bunch of Easter decorations, but are still looking to refresh their living room space for spring. You can combine decorations for both if you get a little creative.

In the photo shown above, a gorgeous display of spring florals is set amongst a birds nest. Small duck figurines combine with Easter eggs to celebrate both spring and Easter in one display.
